I might be doing something wrong but is there some trick to getting officer chat to display in game? I see the officer1 channel in the chat options and it's checked. I type /officer1 and the color of the current channel changes to the officer1 channel but after hitting enter there is no text visible in chat. Other officers can't see my text or theirs, either. Anyone have any suggestions or maybe this is bugged?

It was a joke. In most military services, you have officers and enlisted personnel. Officers are almost always paid more and have more privileges (in this case, a chat not available to enlisted personnelNot sure what you mean by enlisted chat. I can confirm that my guild, as well as two others, have this same issue. There is no presence of an officer chat.0 -

✭Well it's been like 8 days and still no indication of a fix for the problem. I have yet to talk to a single person who can utilize officer chat in-game. My trouble ticket has provided little info other than "this is a known problem". Is anyone able to utilize officer chat in-game?0 -

Officer chat is a private channel restricted to guild officers and is already part of the guild (just not working) so how would anyone spam that? It's used so guild leadership can discuss private guild matters that everyone doesn't need to hear.0 -

There was already a thread about this, but uh, yeah, I mean it's pretty clear there's not going to be an ETA or any kind of acknowledgement about this or some other things. Sorry, didn't know how to say anything useful so I should've stayed quiet.
I mean, I guess I would add that the lack of ability to create channels is like a glaring oversight, as a former EVE player? Like... how did ZO see people managing the chat system using the tools presented, with a live-level playerbase?What do you gain by criticizing a CSR complaint?0 -

vendeatha✭✭✭useless the service here for fixing/solving issues. What do these folks do in maintenance service down-times? sit and drink coffee is my guess. Never seem to fix anything properly. worst service ever on a mmo. And what makes it so bad is Issues that were noted in BETA have been carried through without a single FIX to the actual game. This game should of never been released until they had solved the issues. Maybe one day in the distant future they will have someone who can FIX things properly. Until then expect more things to go wrong..0 -

that's right they have not fixed this issue.. and this issue has been around since early Beta. Shows the lack of how much time it takes them to fix things they believe is unimportant.
