I fail to understand the logic of adjusting xp given by lower level monsters when the vast majority of people questing through VR zones are typically a rank behind the zone level they are questing in.
I can only imagine this is ZOS pushing people to grind through veteran ranks.
I really hope there is some concept about this I am missing, otherwise it is getting harder and harder to maintain confidence that these devs know what they are doing.

Like they said in the patch notes, it's in prep for the champion system. An overhaul like that (VR to CS) is bound to present some bumps along the road. It's understandable that people are frustrated with having their level progression slow down, but in the end it won't make a difference since the levels we're progressing through (VRs) will be gone. We're just gaining XP now which goes towards champion points.

@Cazic is there a reason you will defend this regardless the argument? What incentive for the next several months do I have to play if I can't progress? And scaled dungeons are a pathetic lazy filler, tbh.
I'll be sitting at a significant disadvantage with regards to gear, not to mention I won't be able to play the newer content... until they deem it necessary to actually implement their system.
