New music/themes for different zons

I really like appropriate and well-made music in video games, and since apparently the devs do check the forums, please reply if you also want to see more music.

Don't get me wrong. The music they have now is great, but it gets recycled very frequently. I realize this might not be high on the priorities list for new content, but imagine the release over time via different updates of new rousing battle music for Cyrodiil. Of mood setting and culturally-based music for places such as Morrowind (hey, we've got some of that already, why not put it in?), or zones in Black Marsh such as Shadowfen, or the deserts of Alik'r?

Anyone else with me on this?

There's like two tracks...lol. Shouldn't have skipped out on the music, it's a huge part of any game.

Hope they add to it at some point. In the mean time it would be nice if they worked on fading with NPC conversations.

Actually, the official soundtrack has 47 songs.

Since everyone seems to like comparing MMOs with WoW, there are 17 more songs than WoW's original release, which had 30 songs.

I do agree with the OP, however.
The current soundtrack is amazing - and there are beautiful motifs and homages to past TES games. However it does lack some style variety - most of them sound the same.

It will happen, though. I'm quite sure. Games with a budget as big as ESO can always invest on more quality music. I hope I'm right, though, as bad music can and will kill a game.

Just look at LOTRO, had some awesome music from Chance Thomas, went to generic recycled music from random people, went back to Chance Thomas for one of the best MMO soundtracks ever (Riders of Rohan) and then jumped off the cliff by coming back with generic recycling on HELM'S DEEP - which should've been one of the most iconic, atmospheric and important moments of the game. :/

Yeah even if there are a lot of songs, they all do kinda sound the same, and most of them have the same kinda sad or nostalgic vibe to them. Which is fine, but it would be nice to have some more exciting, adventurous sounding music, every now and then.

I liked the switching from peaceful serene music to adventurous/upbeat whenever you entered/left combat in morrowind and oblivion

I've actually noticed different music playing when exploring Bleakrock Isle and I think Eastmarch at one point. It's very fitting for the snow theme.

And I was just recently thinking about how nice it would be if there was some more upbeat battle music playing when fighting bosses. Kinda like how the main theme played while fighting dragons in Skyrim.

    Faction: Daggerfall Covenant

I ended up turning the music off and firing up Spotify. The music in ESO is good but, like the OP said, it does get old.
