Tamriel Skyshard Hunter Achivement

After today patch, this achievement is wiped completely, anything that was there prior is gone. I just got the few last shard I was missing today but didn't the get achievement, so I checked and found this:

But obviously I have them all:

And I can't write a bug report in-game as the page is also broken after the patch, opens a black screen, not even a loading icon or nothing.

Sounds like a display error like the one that plagued the Adventurer (x quests complete in x zone) achievements with the Craglorn update. I would /bug if you have not already.

I tried but the CS page comes up blank in-game and on the site it won't load....I'll try today again after work. @ZOS_GinaBruno

I submitted a bug in-game today but it didn't give me a ticket number at the end.....

I also noticed that some achivement for delves that I already had got reset also, like Obsidian Scar Vanquisher and Conqueror, and the 50 points for each also got taken out....

Actually this achiev is new with 1.2.3. Didnt exist b4. I collected every single skyshard prio to the patch.

The achiev is however bugged.

Good luck. I've had an issue with my achievements on a specific character for over a month now, no fix in sight. I have all the quest adventurer achievements for Daggerfall Covenant zones, but the Daggerfall Covenant Hero title achievement says I am missing Stormhaven and Alik'r Desert. This is very similar to your issue, as I have the achievements, but the cumulative achievement doesn't recognize them. I can't obtain the Tamriel Hero title, very annoying.

GM told me there is no fix and it will need to be fixed in a patch, but we all know how well those fixes go...

Same here, and I've reported it in-game as a bug and to Customer Support (who said it may be a display bug but it's clearly something in the back-end that's not linking up) and on the forums here. Oddly, only the achievement I got since the Patch (Cyrodiil: Covenant-Territory Skyshard Hunter) appears white (not grayed-out) on this list of prerequisites in my Journal.

Not sure why I left this one for last since my main is DC.

Indeed, but the bug is still there as it's not linking with what you had already...

Sadly this achievement means nothing. It WOULD if people had to look for em themselves and not having them point out by a program or google.

Really sad, cause the way sky shards are planted, is AWESOME!

If there was no way other then tips in journal, to find these, then the Sky shard achievement would be one of the most valuable achievements in the game.

Think about it. Even per zone, is an achievement if you find them on your own.

ALL of em? Then you are the GRAND MASTER of ESO. Should be a HUGE title for that.

However, following a guide/map that points exactly where all are and collecting em, is not an achievement. It sounds like work to me.

Have you done the achievements "Lightbringer / Crime Pays / Give to the Poor/I Like M'aiq"

Those explorer achievements are hard.

I didn't say all achievements was not worth anything. A LOT are!!

There are many really good achievements that no "cheating" google or addon can do for you. I really like that. Was just my sad view on skyshard achievement which could be a huge one.

Just checked, NOPE! Dont have em!

I do have a few achievements that I THINK all players need to play to get.
Good example are the undaunted achievements. Got 5 of em!
Doesn't matter how many addons or guides you use. Don't have a good group or skills at teamwork? Sorry, then you don't get it!

Oh sorry, I forgot you sat right behind me while I was playing the entire time since Early Access and saw exactly how I got all the skyshards.....

Same problem here. All mine from EP reset even though I still have the individual achievements

Same problem here. Completed finding all the skyshards in Tamriel yet the only ones checked in the Tamriel Skyshard Hunter Achievement were the Cyrodill Pact, Convent and Dominion Skyshard Hunter. Submitted a simular problem for the Craglorn Cave Delver Achievement where after completing all the caves/dungeons in Craglorn only one in the list was checked. This is getting old. Folks put a lot of time and effort in completing the achievements only to find many are not working.

I'd like it to work to see what I'm missing. Yes, there are other ways to find out, but achievement progress is helpful, if it worked.

Same thing happened to me. I just got the last shard tonight and was all excited to get the achievement and.... nothing. Just like the OP, the individual area achievements are all full proving that I got them all, but about 2/3s of the Tamriel Skyshard Hunter Achievement is dark.

I opened a ticket and this is the response they sent me:

First of all, we are sorry that you're not receiving the correct achievement update for finishing "Tamriel Skyshard Hunter." We are currently looking into this, and would request that you please fill out a /bug report with as much detail as possible. The information in your report will help us to resolve the issue faster.

When these kinds of issues arise, especially if they involve several players, we are determined to ensure that every single player who may be affected sees it resolved at the same time as all others. We are sure that a positive outcome will arrive and that it will be integrated as smoothly as possible. We are setting this ticket to solved due to that process.


Really? What part of the issue was "solved" exactly?


EDIT: Well I replied and asked that very question and got this response:

Rest assured then that your achievement will be awarded soon, when the general fix is implemented.
We know the value of achievements and take them very seriously!

So fair enough. I guess time will tell

Good thing since many of the new dyes depend on getting these explorer achievements.
