VR 6 Nightblade solo Craglorn bosses video! Without invisible, stays full health

The youtube user "weightroomgaming" has made a Nightblade video where he solo Craglorn bosses as a VR 6 Nightblade!

I have not made this video, and do not take credit.

He seems to handle the fight really well too, and stays 100% health pretty much the whole fight. He does not use any invisible/cloak.

Maybe some Nightblades can take a look at this and learn from his build if you are struggling.

Impressive for a VR 6! And he doesn't even have issues with neither magicka or stamina at all.

I think ti's great that players are able to do this. I'm sure it's not easy and takes a bit of luck (esp considering this player was down to 151hp at one point).

The ignorant mentality from people not knowing eso mechanics is usually:

A VR 12 destro/resto DK does it: "omg class is op! nerfnerf dks!1"

Problem is that many NB players run around with bow/dualwield, and don't realise it's the destro/resto combo that makes high dps and stuff like this possible.

A bow/dual-wield DK or Sorc is mediocre just like the NB.
Not many get this though.

yep sadly you either use a dest staff or rest staff or both in this game regardless of class or your class is gimp .

they should have named the game Elder scrolls Mages online .

The magicka returns (s)he had there was really good. Siphoning Attacks (with Sap Essence spam) + Blocking got most of that I assume?

Pretty nice, although I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up nerfing that ult because of this.

Another Warlock. That's not a real Nightblade. That's a mage. Nightblades fight with Swords and not with Staff and Shield.

You can't make Staff and 1H/Shield a must for everyone.

This proves what a lot of us have known for quite a while. It's not DK or Sorc that are OP, it's the synergy between destro/resto staff and light armor. I think that light armor passives need to be nerfed a bit while buffing heavy and medium armor, maybe even remaking their passives so they have similar synergy with melee weapons/bow.

If your not light armor and destro/restro staff you need to LTP ,ok bad joke.

Its sad light armor and staves are the only valid stuff.

Monkeymystic plays a DK and doesn't want the obviously incoming nerfs to DK because of how ridiculously OP they are so he is doing everything he can to point out how OP he "perceives" NB's to be. He's done this in various threads for pretty much the EXACT SAME NB build, which kills absurdly slow. He must spend every waking moment of every day trying to find Youtube videos of NB's solo'ing anything so he can complain on the forums to save his own DK ass. People like this guy are sad and pathetic.

Tell me about it. I have constantly watched NBs go through mobs like hot knifes through butter in VR zones while I come to the forum and read garbage about NBs needing a buff.
Most of the NBs I talk to about this they just say its L2P.

Remember, sometimes everything doesn't have to do with class, but some weapon combos, armor set bonuses and nonclass abilities being stronger than others.

And also remember: every class using bow/dual-wield builds are mediocre atm. Every class, including dks and sorcs.

Well I know for my nightblade build if I team up with a healer and given some of my passives and siphons I'm fine(shadow knight style build), though have been thinking of switching to light armor.

Also remember, every class is superior to NB dps ST in Craglorn Trials, even if said NB plays with Light Armor and Destro staff, every class. Seriously monkey, get a life, DK's are going to get nerfed and NB's at least are getting fixed since we have TONS of broken abilities.

How about we buff the armors/weapons that are underperforming, rather than dragging down the ones that are effective. Just because someone finds a synergy that works for them doesn't mean we should nerf everything to do with it.

In all fairness, attorneyatlawl's dragonknight video soloing the same boss probably contributed quite a lot to DK builds getting some big nerfs - shield spam, pulsar, inhale, less AoE ult building, elemental drain and dark talons. All key abilities which most DKs revolved (and revolves) around.

Now, playing a DK as my main, I agree to those nerfs (except for inhale, which was unwarranted) but I am curious to see what impact this video will have.

Congratulations!!!!! NB does not need buffs. NBs just need to learn how to play their jobs differently or better. In the future when I read NB needs fixing, I will refer to this thread and tell the player learn to play your job the way its most efficient. Not the way you think it should be played.

MonkeyMystic AGAIN? who would have thought eh?

1. NB is in a 4 man dungeon. The DK video was a DK soloing the TRIALS. 12 man content. Apples and Oranges.

2. The NB has a gimmick spec that will only work on 1 or 2 boss encounters. That spec won't work in a ton of content. That NB would get destroy by trash in some dungeons. The DK/Sorc specs wouldnt.

3. NB is popping potions like candy for the fight duration for additional heals. Sorcs/DKs dont need to do that.

4. NB survives due to ultimate spam and sap essence. It is EXTREMELY situational. It only works due to the very low damage the mobs hit him for (which is reduced by block+Ultimate of course). Once he takes a couple of decent hits he has to switch to heals which annihilates ALL his mana in seconds and isnt sustainable. He is very lucky not to die at this point and rescues it. Well played, but I suspect he dies as often as he wins on this fight.

5. NB takes an eternity to kill anything, due to having to block for the entire fight. DK/Sorc dont have this issue.

The very sad part is that I'd bet monkey doesn't even realize that NB build is 99% situational, he just doesn't want his poor DK main to get nerfed lol.

So much rump-rage but it's cool, why would anyone want to play anything other than a Light armor Destro/Resto build anyway. Especially since we can craft those really cool looking jerki- oh wait.
