The worst thing is that she's wrong, you can trade just fine without loans. I'd understand if she was bending the truth just to advertise her bank's services, but moneylenders in this game can't actually lend money, which is the second worst thing. This entire character was clearly designed for the sole purpose of annoying us.

Honestly, I miss it too. Yeah, it got really annoying when she'd say it every single time and you couldn't access the bank until she was done talking (and there was no way to get her to shut up), but now that bankers stop talking the second you choose a dialogue option, I wish they would bring it back. I remember actually really liking that bit of voice dialogue the first few times I heard it (before it started to get so bloody annoying).

Ya, Polonius was kinda an old dumb. He even told his son not to lie. What kind of loving father does that? One of the first things I did as a father was teach my son to lie well.

This game needs borrowing. How awesome would it be for ZoS to do a tie-in with a micro-finance lender like Quicken so promotions with only a few days left from customers still looking at a paycheck a week or more out might finance crown store items at reasonable consumer rates? If I heard about that, I'd be looking for PPO opportunists at Quicken Loans for sure. Make all those store promotions end on Thursdays with a hot-link to a lender that will turn your unearned euros and dollars into crowns today.
