There's a plain and simple reason why this was done: scamming. Scamming is very rampant, as far as bites/gold go. I know a bunch of people will go "Oh well MY guild doesn't... blah blah blah." -

Ugh...don't pay crowns, forget the NPCs. Once per week, human werewolf players can infect you with a bite. People are happy to assist. Go to the zone with the wold shrine, then put out a zone chat. "L -
