Resolution= more pixels, but remember gpu has nothing to do with pushing pixels! -

I also have a gtx 680. Mine has 4gb of vram. I use the vendor supplied utility to check how much ram the gpu is using. I have gone as high as 3.5 gb from playing ESO. -
