There are so many other ways to obtain alchemy mats other than farming: PvP bags, Dark Brotherhood Shadowy Supplier, Alchemy Writs, Guild Vendors, trading with friends and guildies ... the list goes -

For me, I find that in Coldharbour has a ton of clothing material everywhere you turn. I find the western half of Wrothgar to have an ample amount of alchemy resources to harvest. It really isn't hard -
