But introducing platings for writ rewards is over the top, in my opinion. For a multitude of reasons other than the jewelry market tanking (which it would surely do). -

Gold jewelry is really only useful for end game content, @Drachdhar ... to squeeze out a few extra DPS, heals, or buffs for end game Trials, PvP, etc. -

Is Jewelry Crafting enough?
From the brief intro of Summerset Isle, it looks like the only thing that this "Chapter" is bringing that wouldn't normally be found in a DLC is Jewelry Crafting - and even that is a bit of a stretch
