If the character is purely a crafter, then it's not that one that needs the Keen Eye or Hireling points. They can be on the roaming adventurer character, instead. The crafter needs the skill points in

I have the above 2 sets in legendary quality and use them on my Sorc. Ill likely not use them after the patch, but I am 100% ok with that. Overall I am loving the changes to the sets.

There are hundreds of games better suited for getting "100% completion", this one is a MMO and one designed to take a while, if the mechanics grate on you, you're not the target demographic.
