dont need aoe in *** arena, sweeps all up no problemo -

Both, sweeps and the heavy attack are channeled attacks. For dots and channels empowered only increases the dmg of the first tick. -

I am pretty sure he meant the heals from sweeps, they can't crit, as they are based off of the damage done, which can crit.
