I concur. You could go underwater as early as Morrowind (in the ESO universe). Underwater adventures are a staple of fantasy. They blew this, probably due to lack of time/funds/etc. And instead we got...slaughterfish. Sigh.

Keep in mind it's on the sea floor underneath the ocean. That you can breathe underwater doesn't matter there. The comoression and pressure from just being that deep underwater should kill anyone, including Argonians. Consider that bubble protecting you from this.
