A classic age old question, but, do you happen to be running any add-ons? If so, please give a try to disabling your add-ons and reloading the UI. From there, let us know if the performance improves. -

On a side note, I installed a bunch of add-ons and I don't seem to get the loading screen problem anymore. But that could be as random as anything else anyone has done. -
