I set my ESO to "High performance" in the Widnows 10 Graphics performance preference that I didn't even know existed. It didn't fix the problem. -

Deleting the ProgramData folder and contents along with all the host.developer.x from C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher after each crash maybe makes things a little better, hard to say. … -

Stopped my GPU from keeping a shader cache, was crashing on trying to start the game so I reverted it. -

I tried a number of other steps, including reseating components etc, none of them made a difference. -

When underclocking from stock 'solves' your problem it could be related to your power supply. -

someone mentioned more obvious freezing when killing mobs with loot... probably in other discussion can't confirm but made me think...
