How about a right click->Gold Spammer which reports them and adds them to a temporariy ignore list for like two weeks or a month. Long enough so you don't get annoyed by them until they are dealt with -

I totally agree. A quick option to report for gold spam + ignore should be a standard option now a days. I also tried to report someone and found it was more trouble than it was worth. -
