cast time and channeling are different. no idea about overload. there are very few skills that are listed as "channeled". -

It works like light of cyrodiil set. Only applies while you are casting/channeling spells or to spells that have a cast time. -

5 piece soul shine huh. I never really thought the 5 set bonus was worth it. Let us know if it's effective though -

The problem is that the 5 piece bonus gets affected by diminishing returns, so if you're softcapped on spell power, this will not make a huge difference. -
