That's the issue with buying a console persistent game. Your platform choice is not upgradable. -

I'm not sure I'm following. Aren't both new consoles backwards compatible? I don't see why would ZOS even bother opening new servers (and even re-releasing the game at all) for PS5/Xboxwhatever ? -

Fyi, all PS4 games will be compatible with PS5. Same goes for Xbox 1 games and their next gen console...
