I use the Solar barrage morph, I treat it like a buff instead of an attack. It can be used outside of combat with no target, its an insta cast 20% more damage buff. -

Just make Solar Barrage the same as Dark Flare's damage, but remove the Empower, remove Major Defile, and remove cast time. -

^ Solar barrage could be used for an instant version. Pretty much like it us but give it the range ability and damage and get rid of that freaking cool down. No heal debuff though. -

The dark flare morph is a viable ranged alternative to sweeping strikes. I wonder why you even included that.
