IMO I don't really care, but races means new passives, so it's kinda like going back on your choices in character creation, so I'm voting no for this.

You can play any race you want, just pop to the create character screen and choose the one you feel like trying. Job done.

Any race any alliance needs to get the axe. Makes no sense since One Tamriel. Just get rid of it already.

I know a lizard dude who’s gotten IR, so race isn’t the the biggest factor, as OP stated.
