What exactly is a channeled skill? I'm guessing it is something you cast and it hangs around for a while. Like the destruction staff skill Elemental Blockade.(Quote)

Oh you're completely right. It applies to DoTs and HoTs and spells with cast times, but I've also found it too apply to many instant casts.
