At least your sorc has CC so you might have a chance of getting your shield(s) up, imagine how those of us who play wardens feel right now.

They nerfed rune again. Now big ruines pop up above the enemy character alerting that said player that he or she is about to be runed. It is a dead skill now

Shields have now been equalised with other proactive defensive mechanics which also take 1 second to cast:

dodge roll
shimmering shield
cloak
block

shields take more than 1 sec to cast curently anyway, unless you animation cancel them.
this change will diversify builds, overall it will help noobs like me, might gimp some elites tho

But now we dont have counterplay to abilities like assassins will. Cant cast a shield in prep lol

They do not.

The animation, as with all instant abilities, is purely cosmetic. Whether or not you cancel it, you get the effect the instant the server registers your button-press (even if your client says otherwise).

NBs just got nerfs across the board now that Evasion is completely gone, so did Sorcs with the worst ideas in the world: cast times. Seriously Overload as a third bar was a big deal and a staple of the class. Rune Cage is absolutely worthless now, and Defensive is still not effective because it can proc on the dead guy who’s DoT is still on you instead of being ready for the DK about to leap your ass.

NBs got costs up, damage down, refreshing useless, funnel gutted, mark ineffective, execute expensive

Sorcs just lost an entire bar.

This patch gutted both for no good reason.
