I'm not sure "quit" is the right word, but I've taken an extended break or two.

I have taken a quiet, unannounced break to play something else at one point. So no. Have never quit.

Quit eso ? ESO's for life . You can't quit even if you want , the account remains active . We are trapped in here .

Never quit yet but strong probality I will quit when morrowind is released for console.

Odd poll choices but the last time I quit was due to PC game issues after the lighting update which were left unresolved for almost 5 months.

This time...may be it.
I did already purchase Morrowind but it seems Xbox may let me refund it after release so ...yeah

Sometimes, we get so invested in a franchise that we need to stick around while the game is still adding new story, just so that we can experience that story. Even if the game itself takes a terrible, terrible turn.

The burn out is real though. Between VMA runs that fail to produce what I'm looking for and endless hours farming gear sets since I got serious about running trials about 2 years ago.

New content has tended to lift my spirits, but with the content-light last two patches and the horrible sustain nerfs likely to drive yet another round of farming for this set or that to try to compensate... dunno. Feels bad man.

Taken breaks here and there, never quit.

Not happy with where we are headed, but probably still going to play.

Yeah, I agree with that. I'm the same myself, I like ESO for the Elder Scrolls and the art, and the stories, and the audio, and the other[*] stuff in the game that is *really* really 100% top notch, 100/10.

But since I started enjoying end-game group content and the feeling of doing difficult stuff... hmm... I'd feel like something is missing, that some part has died if I wasn't able to never play my rol again... It's difficult, to be honest.

I don't know, to tell the truth I would probably end my subscription and keep playing casually before quitting myself, with all the pain in my heart of what was lost.

All of this is hypothetical, of course... *ahem*

I just had to take breaks due to real life (moving abroad, job, family etc), but the longest one was not even a month and that was because I did not have internet connection.

Actually i did once, i started playing at lauch but 4 or so months into real life issues made me walk away from the game, but i always knew i was going to return, came back a month before Ic launch, and here i am.

Had to take a break though. Never gone for more than a week though.

One, 8 month break.

I quit for a few weeks a month after launch but that was about it for me.

I can't see myself leaving anytime soon, once I didn't play for 3 days
