How to become: Werewolf or Vampire

Hey guys. So yeah I'm getting more into the game now. I took advantage of the 4th of July weekend and now Lv24. Currently a High Elf Sorcerer and loving it so far. Next question(s): How does one become a werewolf or vampire? What are the pros/cons for each? What is the suggested (werewolf/vampire) for each class? I'm assuming vampire is the best for sorcerer. Any clarifications would be awesome.

Wolf is more for mele while vamp is better for ranged skills. Locations vary depending on factions but I'm in aldmeri and both are found in reapers march. there spawns and spawn time are somewhat random so your better off getting bit by another player. I suggest joining a guild or pay for it from someone who's I'd already one. Running rate atm is around 10-15k. Hope this helps

Thanks Jakestell! I did some research as well and yeah those are really the only options for getting bit. You could get bit by a blood fiend but you'd have to be high level enough to survival 3 hits from then (Lv37 + ?). I also read they come out at midnight which is kind of hard to tell without an ingame clock, especially on a console.

Is there a preferred level to get the bite if I was to quest it and hunt down a WW or blood fiend? It's perhaps easier to ask/pay for someone to do it but I'm just looking for options.

Does anyone know if I could pick up a bite by hanging out near a WW shrine to Hircine or whatever it's called? I haven't been able to find someone who will sell me a bite. I've posted multiple times on that forum.

If anyone has an offer, I'm in Ebonheart Pact on X1 NA server.
