Understand, no studio developing such large-scale projects can maintain the development path of the game they envision, or we as players envision. There will always be commercial directors, investors, sales plans, profit projections, cost-cutting plans, and so-called optimization managers. The developer is enslaved by this bureaucratic machine. 99% of such projects are created with the goal of making a profit. Profit is the most important thing. And then all our desires come second.
Not a single employee of a development studio has the right to say this, or they'll lose their job. But that's true.
They're trying their best. But believe me, they're not having it easy. Management from above carries out "optimization," cutting staff, deadlines, setting impossible goals, and cutting truly great creative work to make changes that promise a quick buck. This situation is ubiquitous in all industries.
You simply can't be a developer and systematically develop your game based on player feedback. Not in games of this scale. All the criticism on the forum is mostly well-reasoned and to the point, I don't dispute that. You just have to understand that things aren't as simple as we'd like them to be.
So lets just support the developers, EXACTLY the team. We're constantly grumbling about something or other. It's important to understand that this is a good thing. It would be bad if we didn't care. So thank you to the regular rank-and-file developers at the studio for your patience. It's hard to be under such stress. I know what I'm talking about. We're with you.
Sorry for my english, its not my native language
