Ghishzor not spawning in phase 2, bug? (Xbox EU)

We reached phase 2 but this boss is not spawning, waiting since 45 minutes ago. How often does it spawn? Is it bugged?

I think I saw a message somewhere that it's not supposed to spawn before update 48, for some reason. Which means it will probably not spawn before phase 3 is reached anyway.

The world boss map symbol is just west of the camp and exactly where we could fight him at the very beginning of the Writhing wall event. (And it's marked as completed for me)

But he's not even supposed to appear there? I have no words

He was accessible at the beginning of the event in a somewhat broken state, instead of fixing they removed him outright in an incremental patch and shifted him to u48. So it will be able to spawn on console only after they're getting the new patch, not earlier no matter the phase they're in.

Why would he spawn there at the start of phase 2, which means at a time when no one can have access to East Solstice yet? At least that was the original plan.

My server isn't there yet, but phase 2 was announced as:
- a few new crafting dailies
- several dolmens active at once
- a new world boss (though that one won't spawn before update 48 now, which means November 12 when phase 2 is likely over anyway)

Phase 3 will give access to the Writing Fortress and when the first people defeated the end boss there (which probably will take 20, 30 minutes at most if there's an okay number of people around - even much faster if it's prime time and there are masses), official access to East Solstice should start.

Yeah people are doing content there and materials are probably flooding the markets now.

I hope we get an official statement that it's okay or not. It's an unintentional very easy to get bug. I experienced it myself and have now a fast travel point unlocked over there. And the more people are in there, the more people will experience the bug since people fast travel all the time in Solstice for the dailies.

Everything will be spoiled soon now with people playing the second part of the zone anyway.

I also don't think this is an easy server side hotfix. By the time they make, test and deploy a patch it will probably be at least days anyway.

Yeah I think all they can do now as a hotfix is to switch off the wayshrines, probably something that should have already been done. People are using Beam me Up and finding themselves exploring the new area. When they get there it's busy with others doing the same. The whole situation is degenerating into a farce now.

This happened because of a bug in phase one where the boss spawned too early. But the fix had to be paired with Update 48 due to timing. So that is why the boss is not spawning right now and will not until U48. We know this was not ideal, but was the only way to fix the core bug that came up in phase one.

This happened because of a bug in phase one where the boss spawned too early. But the fix had to be paired with Update 48 due to timing. So that is why the boss is not spawning right now and will not until U48. We know this was not ideal, but was the only way to fix the core bug that came up in phase one.

This is BS. That means that for us on console the only change between phase 1 and 2 is what? An alchemy writ for another blue dagger of crap? Re-bug him!
