Eso Launcher WONT work No Matter What..Any1 else? o.0
I've contacted Customer support Many times over Email and would rather not CALL and talk to some1 who cant speak ENGLISH no offense but this is ridiculous anymore the last 2-3 days..Now i cant even Start the game within the last 1day or so and the ESO Launcher hasn't worked for about 3 days.I'm f'n tired of it Bethesda and Zenimax..I WANT ANSWERS! who else feels the same way because i dont want a problem i just wanna play a fun game

Bloodmonarch✭✭Have you tried turning off your Antivirus...I read others had an issue with the launcher 'not doing anything' and this was the cause0 -
Everything was working semi-good untill i needed the ESO Launcher for the Update then it wigged out and when i tried to Login it said..Login Time out.So i tried deleting my Folder/Files and nothing seems to be helping for the LAUNCHER to get up and running.0

Bloodmonarch✭✭Try doing a re-install...no need for doing the whole 30GB though.
Just rename your ESO folder by putting a Z in front of it (this is just so you don't inadvertently install to the same folder)....download the client and reinstall the game, make sure you name it slightly different to the previous install. let it create a new ESO folder. Run the launcher, but cancel it when it starts to patch.
Copy across the data files from your old ESO folder, but ONLY copy the folders 'Depot' and 'vo_en'. Do not copy the 'launcher' folder or 'game' folder.

Anastasia✭✭✭✭Tiny thing you may already know but after all you have done, also right click on the game icon and Run As Administrator - might help you as it has others. Sorry this is happening, I know how frustrating it can be and hope you get it squared away asap.
- This game is very good; I have been very lucky and had no issues since early launch but I did 'expect' some during an mmo launch. That 'some' shouldn't include not being able to get in game at all Bloodmonarch. Best wishes for you to get it cleared up.1 -
That's already a problem because i DELETED the whole game off my Hard drive because i got sick of not getting the issue resolved by Tech. support and when i install Client from Eso website i get all the way to the point where it installs direct x and the Installing thing then it does no more no matter how much i click it or whatever so.. I cant even get the game files to pop up

Try running the launcher as an administrator. If it still won’t open, try installing the launcher into the default folder, Zenimax Online/Launcher in C:
If the launcher will open but not update, and you are running as an administrator, you can try disabling your antivirus, firewall, Pop-up blocker, Ad-blocker or webfilter temporarily and try again. Please make sure you re-enable your web protection afterwards!
We are aware that some players are unable to patch or update the launcher due to their automatic proxy detection.
• Open Internet Explorer (even if it is not your regular web browser)
• Open the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
• Go to Connections tab/LAN settings
• Uncheck “Automatically detect proxy settings” and hit OK.
• Press OK again to confirm.
Alternatively on your Control Panel, click on "Network and Internet" and open Internet Options:
• Connections Tab: Click on LAN settings. On the LAN settings window, uncheck all the boxes and click on OK.
• Advanced Tab: Click on Reset and then click on Reset again.
You may have to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
If that does not solve your issue, could you please contact our customer support team, and provide them a DxDiag file (How to get your DxDiag file).

Bloodmonarch✭✭Windows restore isn't the flakey garbage it used to be; it wont cause any problems, and may will fix whatever the issue is that is now preventing you from re-installing ESO1

Actually second thought i dont think RESTORE will help especially when all my other programs work so i'll try that another time.0

Bloodmonarch✭✭restore should only take a few minutes and if you haven't installed anything else since ESO it wont affect any other programs.
It should have set a restore point just before you installed ESO.

I never said it was per say was "Easier" lol.I'm just saying that i have a plethora of programs that work fine with NO ISSUES! so why Restore when the ESO Server Launchers are Faulty and have Issues.

Btw..if "Tech" Advice was so easy then why doesnt my ESO function properly especially when i pay $60 and it was running b4 the UPDATE "To an extent"?0

Well from what you say, if I read it right, it hangs at the point of installing directX.... this indicates a possible problem with the installation, specifically the directx part of the installation, rather an issue with the ESO servers.

It was probably just better to wait for the PS4 Version rather than a whole host of PC problems lol but i thought this would blow Skyrim and past predecessors out of the water but this game HASNT completely lived up to that yet even though Skyrim and etc. had many problems and this is in the early stages.
