Soul Gems Missing from treasure chests?

We used to have soul gems drop from treasure chests. I always joked that it was 127 gold, a soul gem and some other random drops. I noticed recently that this was changed, but now world bosses drop soul gems in addition to the other drops? Has anyone else notice this change? I looked in the patch notes but found no mention of this.

✭✭✭✭✭Bosses have always dropped soul gems. That is where I get the bulk of mine.
