View Distance Setting

Hi,
In the settings there is a slider for view distance that goes from 0 to 100. Does this slider affect how far you can see other players or does it only affect npc's and trees, buildings etc?
If you are in Cyrodiil will you see players further away if it's set to 100 rather than 50 or 0?

Increasing view distance will affect all objects and seeing other players. Increasing this setting will affect performance on your PC.The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited - ZeniMax Online Studios
