✭✭✭✭✭it's not really a world ending threat, the majority of the story is in Apocrypha if i recall correctly.

i didnt like most of the main story in blackwood either, but so far ive thought the current story is a lot better (note: i have not finished the main story quests yet)plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

Forums are a terrible way to form an opinion, imho, especially on these ones.
There are always the typical 3 sides: 1) Yay! 2) Meh.. 3) It sucks!
..and that remains the same for this chapter, the new class, the story, and whatever else you decide to toss onto the fridge door to see if it sticks or not.

✭✭I can only judge from what I've seen on the PTS as I haven't bought Necrom myself yet...
The writing is definitely a lot better than High Isle, although to pull off worse writing would be quite an accomplishment. The story, as far as I've played it, was ok. I just don't care about Hermaeus Mora and everything related to him, so I stopped right as the story location switched to Apocrypha where the lion's share of the story seems to play out.1 -
