I hope they do a rollback, one of the problems i experienced was that when i deposited my currency it duplicated. Which is super bad

If only the actual bugs in the game cost ZOS money.
Jeez guys, I've tried sticking with it as the game haemoragges players....I've even bought a lot of crowns lately while ESO+'s are being dropped like they are hot....but come ON...you're making it hard.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭If they do a rollback, it is likely you will loose nothing OTHER THAN anything you obtained after the severs went up thus morning. Meaning your account should be exactly as it was before maintenence happened. This is usually the way rollbacks work when errors such as these are caught quickly enough.Legends never die

Ghaleb✭✭✭✭✭Update: We have identified the issue that was causing this, which was tied to one of the fixes that went into today's PC incremental patch. We are working on removing the necessary elements now. Please be aware it will take several hours to get everything fixed, tested, and completed; we will continue to provide updates in this thread as we have them.

✭✭Well if things have really duplicated they likely roll inventories back to before patch state. While on break I played New World which had about one dupe exploit per patch with no rollbacks... that was kind of sad clown type of funny.0 -

SiAScORCH✭✭✭✭They try and fix one thing and break 3 other things. That's been an ongoing issue since release. They can't seem to just be happy and leave stuff alone. They say they want to bridge the gap between new and vet players, making new meta sets every time you do something isn't helping that. Vet players generally have the money to get the new set & gold it out, while new players can't because they can't do the content.
You can say you're taking a right hand turn all you want, but when your vehicle goes left, it's the action that matters, not the empty words. lol4 -

It would be naive to assume that they tell you everything they change behind the scenes in the patch notes. I can guarantee there are other modifications going on that they feel we don't need to know.
There have been numerous cases of players commenting about "Hey, my this and that or such changed like so" and ZOS coming in and saying, yes, we also changed that.

ManM✭✭✭One of the issues that was being worked was that a buff on Oakensoul wasn't persisting through death. Perhaps there was a greater issue in play (which had manifested with the Oakensoul empower thing but could lead to more trouble down the road), and the devs tried to fix it by changing up the way character states were being stored and refreshed. However, that particular fix did not work at a scale beyond their initial testing, and so they are trying to very quickly fix the new bugs introduced.
In software development, sometimes a "simple" patch note has a rather complex thing going on behind the scenes.0 -
