"out of memory" ESO crashing my system.

Welp what else can i say folks , this is typical Microsoft. For a company that makes the world's most used OS, it has been my experience with the few Microsoft games i have tried are consistently problematic. Another common attribute is the speed which they work to solve problems - glacial.

Everything on my system works fine until i run ESO. IF i am lucky i can run firefox or another app...for a while.... If i run Brave browser and watch youtube the system immediately crashes and Brave displays an "out of memory error".

The system crashes , i can use the task mananger to end tasks but this still does not free up the memory and i have to restart the system.

Frequently i have to cold boot the system because it is hanging in "restart" .

6 months ago i had to reroute my USB cooling system because ESO was killing my USB devices , now this....

Guys , seriously ,, get with the program and lift your game , you have an awesome game in your stable. Care for it like a Stallion not a donkey.

This sounds very very far reaching. If you're running out of memory, try getting more memory. How ancient is your pc if you need usb cooling?

i have 16gb of mem and far from ancient my liquid cooling system uses the usb ports because fan speed and water circulation speed is controlled by software monitoring the temperature of the CPU and GPU.

The out of memory error could be a clue as to what is causing the crashes afflicting the game that so many report.
It might point to sloppy programming where one function might not be freeing the memory it reserves for its run. The memory use of this function could only be a few hundred KB but this can add up very quickly and i could have 128gb of memory but eventually it too will all be used and i will be out of memory.

it is only speculation on my part but the theory is sound.

Thank you for posting the system specifications of your PC. You are well above the minimum requirements and shouldn't be running into memory issues with ESO. Please try rebooting the PC into a selective startup. This will disable third party software running on the PC. Test your setup under the selective startup and see if the issue persists.
