Hi guys, I am on an iMac Pro with Big Sur 11.1,

like 3 months ago I uninstalled my perfectly working ESO since then nothing changed at my setup. Neither the mac nor the Router or ISP. I wanted to reinstall ESO 2 days ago. I chose the Steam version as I use it all the time. It installs perfectly, but when I try to run the Launcher for the first time it simply freezes and I need to force close it. I will post screenshot and the log report. By the way I also tried the game consultant and it behaves the same! I tried this also with the original ESO Launcher from the site, I tried it on my Macbook Pro and on my Linux gaming notebook. Its the same all the time. I am currently set on the Google DNS, but I also tried VPN method but it still wont load.cp9eswi5ulsp.png

    Sadly it is loading. Also I can Login in the patched game simply the launcher is not working!

    Hi, I visited the site again and I forgot to mention before and now that my browser tells me the following: NET::ERR_SSL_OBSOLETE_VERSION

    but then I can choose advanced settings and visit the site it loads and show my data.

    I feel like it might be just stuck because of that error.

    I think the patcher is reaching out https://geoip.snxd.com/geoip/json/. to find out where in the world it is.
    and after that it connects to the local CDN ( content deliver network ) that holds all the patch data.

    I don't know if this is a problem with Big Sur 11.1... or a SSL framework in the launcher etc since you got that SSL error.
    No one else seems to be reporting this.

    I suppose it could be a bug in the version of the launcher you have and that leads to it getting stuck and not being able to update itself.

    Maybe if you have a friend with they game they can send you a copy of their updated launcher... ( wild guess here )

    I installed the game on my GF Mac and it worked flawless. Its the same network so maybe something is wrong with my MacOS.

    Can you can the patcher over from her computer to yours?

    Also you could look at her logs.

    If her machines not getting the WebGet Error: (https://geoip.snxd.com/geoip/json/) (168.128.152.212:443) (1:-9810)
    error then you may have a network issues / firewall issue of some kind on your mac.

    Yeah I did that and the funny thing is I can play the game if I start it directly via the eso.app. The Launcher is still not working. I turned of every goddamen security measure (Firewall, AntiVir, Router Firewall, AdBlocker etc. Also uninstalled them its still not working) We have both the same Mac with the specs and MacOS.

    Ticket can be closed it just startedd working. I dont know why i did not change anything.
