Can't log in to account on site & support contact is circular

Okay, so JUST made a new account and received and used my verification link, then received my "congratulations, your account is verified" mail. Can't log in. Can't log in, still can't log in. So I decide to try changing my password. I go to password reset. It sends my reset link, I click it, it says "you can't reset your password right now." What the actual flip. This is ticking me off. So I go to support form, and NONE of the pulldown options are "it arbitrarily won't log me in even though I have all the info correct", and guess what choosing "can't remember username/password" says? Either "use the password reset" or "click this link". The second option takes me back to the general support form to open the SAME FREAKING PAGE. How about DON'T HIRE DAEDRA TO DESIGN YOUR SUPPORT PAGES. Ye GODS. Should I just give up on making an additional account?!

    Same here. I created a new account and can't log in to game cause I keep getting message that my Username or password may be incorrect... I just created this account, it's not like I forgot the password already!!

    For your issues getting logged into the account site, please try the following:
    • Check your browser's ad-blocker and set it to allow requests from help.elderscrollsonline.com (add it to the whitelist)
    • Use a different browswer

    If you are unable to log into the ESO support website or cannot start a ticket with customer support please try the following:
    1. Visit the account recovery page and select your platform, your Userid, and the appropriate option in the drop down for "Issue Type."
    2. Fill out the form to the best of your ability. If you are currently using a different email than the one that is associated with your ESO game account, please enter that in the Your Current Email Address line.
    3. Enter what you can remember about your account in the Account Ownership Verification fields.
    4. Attach any proof of purchase you may have to the form.
    5. In the Describe Your Problem in Detail box, please include the email address that is currently associated with your ESO game account and a brief description of your issue.
    6. When you have finished filling out the form, click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
