    Honestly I'm searching really really hard for a game that I can go for and ditch ESO for good.

    I wish I could switch to PC because of how progressively worse console has become. But the Maelstrom weapons....
    I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.

    why release a finished product when you can just patch it later? all developers are doing it now.... here play our beta it's released and pay for it oh wait for lets patch it over and over..... just like early access games... might as well call it early access mirrorwind

    This is still within the normal amount of time for a scheduled patch maintenance.

    Game has been running pretty good for me lately.

    So I'm inclined to say that the maintenance has been working. Even the play button on my launcher has started to work finally. :)

    Usually weekly, probably one of those things we'd only know we miss if it were gone.

    Maybe it's you. I got a new computer last October and my game runs fantastic now.

    You're saying I'm the only one experiencing the issues everyone has experienced since launch?

    Are you new? Did you play when Morrowind was released or the latest PVP event where the servers clearly couldn't handle the player influx?

    Sure. But including all those unscheduled maintenance days, it's a bit too much, isn't it? It like 5 days each month for some people. They pay full price for ESO+ and can't play in their prime time.

    Normally, they have them once per week. Last week was extraordinary.

    Last week they fixed a high severity exploit in a special maintenance on Wednesday. They also had an unscheduled maintenance related to some backend issue overnight on Thursday-Friday, and had a hotfix that did not require down time.

    All of this out of the norm for what we see on a weekly basis, and all of them improving the situation with the server.

    Yep console lags hard at worst times possible yesterday i got stuck endless wrecking blowing j hit the button like 40 times and stopped and my char was stuck endless spamming it couldn't swap weps i could move but she kept wrecking ... killed the boss still but sheesh bugs

    Watch a console stream, PC does not crash to dashboard or bzzzz lockup, console does every 1-2 hours at least once.

    This is an Unreasonable amount of downtime for a service orientated business. Your customers should never be shown this level of poor planning and practice. I am sorry but all the Bugs and issues should have been known and repaired on a test server prior to launch. No excuse for this many problems.

    ESO has more down time than most other MMOs, so much is true.

    They have so much legacy issues it seems, that they fix them with those server maintnence restarts, clearing stuff, optimizing data, etc.

    In all honesty: When ESO started I thought, wow, good tech with that quest channels, PvP zergs etc.

    Now I think: The whole game suffers because of the PvP centric design. And the quest channels are also useless, cause you just do what you would do solo, only with the enemies dying even quicker than they would when you solo that content.

    So a lot of tech, but no real gain. Just more burden on a game that could be a true Game Of Thrones like world with features about territory, diplomacy and politics next to adventuring and exploring.

    Maybe ESO2 will get it right, if it will ever come to be.
