Why are there so many left handed actions in the game? Talk to NPC's and when they hand you something it is always with the left hand. Does it have something to do with mirror image?

✭✭✭✭✭Long ago a very short remark occurred on ESO Live to another question. In that, it was said something to the effect of the artist and animation/actors tend to influence it.
Its not done on purpose its just a result of cause and effect of what's available in the game and what one artist or animator designs. One could assume those folks may default to one side over the other as a force of habit.-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

I on a few occasions have suggested left handed is the next great step along the evolution path. That suggestion usually doesn't get met with much love.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I can think of a few possibilities:
1) They build models and animations and then mirror-image them to create easy duplicates.
2) Sometimes it's easier to animate it that way - maybe the persons clothing or equipment would clip, or the action would be off-screen if they used their right hand.
3) They did motion capture and one of the actors was left-handed.
4) They actually thought about it and made a realistic proportion of NPCs left-handed.
