I'm fairly certain that still applies to XB1

@n80fty as you're on console they sell crowns as codes on cards.
You can get them cheaper via eBay and other online merchants rather than direct from ZOS or highstreet retailers.
As always however be careful to make sure you're buying from trusted sources, use PayPal if you can for buyer protections.

So seems like you don't get them first, and then suddenly 20k crowns appear out of nowhere
So glad I'm on PC...

@ThePaulrus94
It's suppose to grant crowns but most often, we don't get them at all
It has always required a ticket be opened or call Microsoft to have it cancelled and get a refund EVERY MONTH since it was added to the game shortly after release for me and many others.

I was under the impression that they made a change in how it is sold on XBox a few months back and fixed it. Hmm.

@lordrichter
Nope....the only change was reverted. The sku was added to the Xbox store and weeks later removed so for only one month, it worked as it should. Afterwards, it stopped for me and others. From that change, it's also causing some players not only to miss out on crowns, but the benefits as well
It's a bunch of BS. I won't be subscribing anymore after trying to work with them for almost 2 years on this.
I and others shouldn't have to create a ticket every month and/call Microsoft for a refund and pay again for it to work and wait 24-72 hours for crowns or at worst.....6-9 months for a lump of all missed crowns.

Bummer. It is too bad that Bethesda seems to be unable to get things to work with Microsoft. I blame the XBox side. Sounds like they had the answer and decided not to do it.
