Undaunted Plunder will make people rich quickly?

And, yes someone who farms anything for 100 hours should have made a million gold in that time.

You really spend 10 hours a days running around looking for chests? You really think anyone does?

That is not more or less realistic than your assumption that people would run trials 10 times a day to farm gold.
    CarbonX wrote: »
And honestly, how much gold you make per day with the mats thing?

    With flowers ? A LOT.
Let's roughly say one can farm 200 flowers / hour and flowers sell for (rough average) 100 each, that's 20K/hour which trumps your 10K/trial hands down.
    CarbonX wrote: »
After doing so, do you still have time to play the game?

People who would (according to you) farm trials 10x/day would also have no time to do anything else.

I have time to play everything - I don't do only farm. But that's not the point. The point is whether farming trials for undaunted plunder/gold is an attractive way of farming gold - and it clearly isn't. It's simply a way to help raiders cover their pot costs.

I usually log in once per day just to run a lap in my favorite farming place. One lap takes about 10 minutes, and i usually find about 5-10 columbines.

I just checked prices, they sell for 600g a piece in Rawl'kha. That puts my profit at 3000-6000 gold per 10 minutes. I guess i could stomach about 2 hours of doing this max. That would put my daily profit at 36000-72000 gold per day.

    And that's just the columbines.

Lol do you have any idea how much money you blow on potions in those runs? Probably not.

And with that I mean decent spell and weapon power pots. Any DD considering himself serious uses them.

Find a decent team, do decent runs, pull decent dps, clear vmol. Then we'll talk again.

Just because you're a slacker doesn't mean everyone else plays or wants to play like that. We ge for scores, not for gold. And going for scores costs money, lots of it.

So selling one piece for 300,000 to 1,000,000 gold isn't considered too much but getting 1000 per piece/boss is too much?

Go climb back into whatever hole you live in.

Personally, I don't think many guilds even currently run 10 trials a week. We host three solid trial dates now. 10 would be eek... But we are a smaller sized guild.

This thread is not about going to trials for scores, but to farm plunder.

1k per item? How many you can get after finishing a run if each boss you defeat increases drop amount?

Let's say first boss drops 1 plunder item, second boss 2, third boss 3 and fourth boss 4, being that 10 items, so 10k minimum (if not more). So 10 runs a day would be 100k? So in a few weeks you can have millions?

Is it just like that or am I missing something?

    Thanks.

if you do 10vet trials that's fairly close to 10h, even with a VERY good group that runs it in top times. simply because you have downtime in bewteen, peopel disconnecting, etc.
within 10h you can make several (many!) 100k but simpyl picking flowers, rubedite, etc.

sure, it's a quite a bit of now gold added into the game. if anything, it'll make flowers and tempers even more expensive - not make raiders rich.

Lol people are worry about raiders making too much gold by running trails when I can make 6000+ runing dailies not in Cyrodil just the pve dalies and do not even sale the motifs. Would be much more of I did. 30,000+ from stealing and killing everyday. This is an average because some days I make more and some days I make less. Depends if I have the time. While also making 25000 gold from farming per hour. I typically make double that since I normally spend two hours grinding. If I wanted too I could make more money if I spend more time but no one has the time for that. I can get around 90000 a day without doing any thing as time and potion consuming as trials are. I believe raiders deserve to make money for what they love to do. It cannot be much as some traders make now on Xbox with their outrages prices.

Well if you think flowers and pots are expensive now, just wait till after the patch.

I sure as heck am gonna sell my plants for even higher amounts, now that trial runners are having an easy and steady supply of gold.

Yup, same here. Expect the price of gold materials and flowers to go up while the average player's income stays the same.

I have never bought a single reagent...not once. Why do you actually need to. I'm swimming in stacks of all of them..strange comments. Amazingly the reason they are expensive is because you are lazy.

Wait till next update. I'm going to double the cost of everything I sell. And Kuta, all these new jewelery sets coming going to treble the cost of them.

Lol all you like, once One Tam lands, ruby mat prices will plumet like a rock, once everyone and their mother finds ruby mats all over the world.
I'd be surprised if refined ruby mats sell for much more than lowlevel trash mats once prices stabilize.

Alchemy is another story entirely, prices are high on those (at least the few specific plants for specific potions, the rest aren't worth a whole lot).

10 hours of crime spree? LOL!!! You can only sell a limited amount of stolen items per day dude!

You can fence over several days, that takes little time.
Also, there's no limit on how many chests you can break per day. There's always gold inside. 60-100 depending on the level of the chest. So yes, crime spree is a valid option for making gold.
    CarbonX wrote: »
And selling mats nowadays? really? No one buy mats anymore dude!

Noone buys mats ? Then people buying columbine, lady's smock and every other plant in guild stores constantly are "noone". I sell mats all the time and they always go within 24 hours. Nothing sells better than mats.

You really spend 10 hours a days running around looking for chests? You really think anyone does?

And honestly, how much gold you make per day with the mats thing?

I mean, be honest, you do it all the time as I read above, right? So, how much time you take per day to collect enough expensive plants to create and sell expensive potions.

After doing so, do you still have time to play the game?

You can find 15 columbine in hollow city in 5-10 minutes.

They sell for 800-1000 per plant.

That's 15k in tops 15-20 minutes, finding and listing prices, sold fast.

This money they get from selling this comes from the npcs, so it comes from the game, it doesnt come from the other players, so effectively every gold in the economy becomes worth less.

True on one side that gold is pumped in the system. The problem though is this money wont really stay with the vet trial runners. Usually we do 3-5 vet trial clears with hm a raidday of 3 hours. In that time everybody uses ~200 potions + repair costs which normally totals in about 40-45k an evening in expenses. If i get no sets to sell from there we'll all be poor in a matter of weeks.

So we trial runners definitely need something to keep the money running but I'll give you that this is not that good of an idea to solve this issue.

    @xblackroxe

First, wow, up to 5 vet HM clears in 5 hours. Pretty sweet group your running with.

Second, the plunder plus the 10k gold tooth for clearly HM will add up to pretty sweet bank roll for the run and the costs should be less than 40k gold. Armor repairs are minimal since your not whiping leaving pots as the only real maintenance cost and that should be less than 20k. Maybe 30k gold total for the night.

Reall, up to 5 vet HM clears a night is sweet.

At the end of the day, not everyone has a fair chance to sell to the community, so sales only garnered by a small percentage of the community. Until the day they open trading to the whole community we can expect ridiculous inflation on certain items.

Inflation. When you sell columbine to another player, you're not adding any new gold into the economy, you're just moving around existing gold by exchanging your materials for their gold. When you sell an item to an NPC, the gold they give you is created out of thin air, and NPCs don't have a finite amount of gold. What this can lead to is runaway pricing, especially on things people who run trials want like potions and crafting materials.
