OVERVIEW
The Elder Scrolls Online v2.5.2 is our latest incremental on the PTS that continues to address issues found in the latest DLC game pack, Shadows of the Hist. We’ve also made several fixes and updates to the base game patch including additional changes to racial passives, tradeable bind-on-pickup items, and more.

In this patch, we’ve copied all characters from the PC European megaserver. The size of the patch is approximately 370MB.

    Itemization Updates in Trials

    We've updated the itemization in the Aetherian Archive and Hel Ra Citadel Trials.
    • Previously, the sets that these Trials were intended to drop were switched (Hel Ra dropped the sets that Aetherian Archive was intended to drop, and vice-versa). This has now been fixed.
    • The Stygian set, which is currently found in Hel Ra Citadel, has been replaced with the Hide of the Werewolf set.
    • The Necromancer set has been removed from the drops in question, and will not be sourced from either Trial. It will, however, be sourced in a different way in a future update.
    • Below are the sets that can be sourced from each Trial:

    General
    • The loincloth in the Heavy Mazzatun set is now attached to the belt.
    • Argonian lower side horns now display properly when you have a hat equipped.
    • The following items now have 3 tint channels:
      • Abah’s Watch legs
      • Emperor’s Regalia
      • Hollowjack shoulders
      • Pirate Swab outfit
    • Adjusted the tint channel assignments on several hats so they are consistent.

    Dungeons & Group Content
    Dungeons
    • Ruins of Mazzatun
      • Player characters in Werewolf form will now be able to properly use the Reveal synergy.
      • Using the Shake Off synergy for the Swamp Spice will now correctly place it on the ground in all locations.
      • Barrage of Stone will no longer target dead player characters.
      • When Xit-Xaht Sludge-Slingers select a target for their Feral Blitz ability, a visual effect will now be displayed on that target immediately when their casting begins.
      • When Xal-Nur selects a target for his Monstrous Blitz ability, a visual effect will now be displayed on that target immediately when their casting begins.
      • The door to Tree-Minder Na-Kesh now opens properly when your character dies, and the encounter resets.
    • Cradle of Shadows
      • All of the doors in Velidreth’s layer will now open and close properly.
      • Hides-The-Ashes will now display her smoke burst effect after Velidreth has been defeated.
      • Hides-the-Ashes will once again respawn for players who disconnect after defeating Velidreth.
      • Fixed several issues with visual effects with the deceased Atronach that provides the Atronach Light synergy, just before the encounter with Velidreth.
      • Hides-the-Ashes no longer executes the Shadow Fangs in the chamber before Velidreth.
      • Removed the nameplate from the Alter of Adoration in Velidreth’s lair.
      • Updated the sound associated with the visual effects that indicate a player character is being targeted for teleportation when standing on the edge of the upper platforms leading to Velidreth's lair.

    Exploration & Itemization
    General
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent player characters using the Witchmother’s Brew collectible from appearing as a skeleton to other players.

    Achievements
    • Corrected the description of the Sapped Sludge Slingers achievement to more accurately reflect its prerequisite.

      • Dark Shades (Summon Shade morph): Fixed an issue where Rank III of this morph was not working with various passive abilities in the Shadow skill line.

    Sorcerer
    • Storm Calling
      • Ball of Lightning (Bolt Escape morph): Fixed an issue where Rank I of this morph was not displaying its visual effect.

    Racial
    • Argonian
      • Quick to Mend: This passive now grants a 1/3/5% bonus to both healing done and healing received, instead of a 3/6/9% bonus to only healing done.
    • Khajiit
      • Nimble: This passive ability’s recent change from granting a Health Recovery bonus to a Max Stamina bonus has been reverted. It now grants the same bonuses currently granted on the Live megaservers.
    • Redguard
      • Adrenaline Rush: Increased the cooldown of this passive’s proc to 5 seconds at all ranks, from 3 seconds on Ranks II and III.
    • Wood Elf
      • Resist Affliction: Increased the Max Stamina bonus provided by this passive to 2/4/6% from 1/2/3%.

    Monster Abilities
    • Spider Daedra
      • Spit can no longer be used more frequently than once every 2 seconds. It can also now be cast at the maximum player range, and also deals poison damage.

    Crafting & Economy
    Alchemy
    • Fixed an issue where poisons were displaying incorrect durations.
    • Updated the visual effects for poisons applying Uncertainty, Hindrance, Cowardice and Maim.
    • Adjusted the camera at the Dye station so it’s more zoomed out to help ensure that you can see your full outfit, including your hat or helmet on big heads.

    Crown Store & ESO Plus
    General
    • Adjusted the name and descriptions of a number of collectible hairstyles to be more accurate.

    Dyes
    • You will now be able to correctly dye Cadwell’s Helm.
    • Updated the names of all Dye Stamp items to give them a named week. This will help identify which week the Dye Stamp belongs to long after it was purchased.

    Style Parlor
    • Changing to the opposite gender with a gender-locked hair collectible equipped will no longer cause the re-made character to appear bald at character select.
    • Backing out of a Race or Appearance change will now prompt you with a confirmation.
    • Added tooltips to disabled options during Race and Appearance changes.

    Dungeons & Group Content
    Dragonstar Arena
    • The Ice Comet ability used by monsters will no longer apply a stun and damage prior to impact.
    • Anka-Ra Shadowcasters will no longer attempt to target player characters out of range of the Celestial Blast.
    • Certain monsters that could infinitely respawn will no longer grant loot or experience.

    Exploration & Itemization
    Achievements
    • Fixed an issue where the revamped item sets available in the Aetherian Archive and Hel Ra Citadel were lacking some shields. They will now drop shields in Infused, Divines, Well-Fitted, Reinforced, and Sturdy.
    • Fixed a number of cases where unowned Redguard and Orcish weapons and armor found sitting around in the world were more valuable than intended.

    Bind-on-Pickup Items
    • Added icons to the Inventory screen and tooltips to better identify bind-on-pickup items that can be traded.
    • Tradeable bind-on-pickup items that have their timer expire while in the trade window now display an error message when they're automatically removed from the trade.
    • Bind-on-pickup items that can be traded can no longer be listed in the guild store, stored in a guild bank, or mailed to other player characters.
    • Fixed an issue where you could attempt to trade a bind-on-pickup item to an ineligible player character, and thus have the item be locked.

    Item Sets
    • Dreugh King Slayer: Fixed an issue where the Major Expedition bonus granted by this item set was stacking with other sources of Major Expedition.
    • Velidreth: Fixed an issue where this item set’s damage proc was displaying an incorrect name in the combat log of various player-made addons.

    Mementos
    • Crows summoned by the Blackfeather Court Whistle memento can again be seen.

    Quests & Zones
    Deshaan
    • Ratting Them Out: Fixed an issue where the bag of rats could not be used.

    Khenarthi’s Roost
    • Tears of the Two Moons: Gathwen will now respawn if she somehow becomes stuck and disappears.

    UI
    General
    • Fixed an issue that could cause a UI error when entering the game while mounted.
    • Collectibles locked by race or alliance restrictions can no longer be quick slotted.
    • Changed the sort order of collectibles to prioritize collectibles that your current character can use over ones they cannot. This will be most evident in Appearance sub-categories.
    • Added a filter to Collections to only show collectibles that you can use on your current character.

    Alliance War
    • Fixed an issue where PvE revive options would appear after selecting a revive option from a PvP death.
    • Fixed an issue where you could not revive as a Keep was being captured.

    Gamepad Mode
    • Fixed an issue that could cause a UI error when viewing the Claim Keep screen.
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent navigation within the Crown Store.
    • Fixed an issue that caused a UI error when looting containers during the Main Quest.

    Since it's been changed to 5% healing received and 5% healing done, can you please raise Argonian max magic to 6% instead of 3%?

    With the roll back, our heals will no longer be stronger than that of Dunmer/Breton/Altmer as it would have been while also nerfing some of our tank builds that now only received 5% healing received instead of 9% for a minuscule gain to our max magic (3% of a 25k pool is only 750 extra magic, not even enough for a cheap casting ability, let alone any useful ones for tanking). Increasing our max magic to 6% would instead allow us to be competitive healers by providing stronger heals than the other 3 magic races but with less sustain and damage than them, while also providing our tanks with at least a more usable amount of magic for their abilities.

    Really happy to see the new change to the healing passive of Argonians. It's far better for stam builds now that healing received isn't totally gone.

    However, as another suggestion.

    2/4/6% stam, +1/3/5% disease/poison damage
    2/4/6% health, +disease/poison resist (same resist numbers as live but lowered health to compensate for other buffs)
    2/4/6% magicka, +1/3/5% healing taken (because healing taken is more lore friendly than healing done for Argonians)

    This makes Argonians more of a hybrid race (fits with their lore) while also making sure they won't outshine the current top dps races (because those are completely focused on either magicka or stamina).

    Also, giving Argonians a lore-friendly +poison/disease damage passive opens up design space for other lore-friendly passives for other races such as +physical damage for Redguard/Orc/Nord, +magic damage for Breton and +bow damage for Bosmer.

    Just to add - can we please get 6% magic increase for Argonian's.

    Personally I would ask to have the potion part of the passive scrapped completely because I (like most Argonian players) hate it and give us 6% max magic and a magic regen bonus. However I suspect that might be asking for too much so 6% max magic and lower the potion restore if you feel this is too good together.

    There still seems to be an issue with regards to dunmer flame damage. UI is showing vastly lower totals for fire abilities than on live.

    Glad to see these changes with wood elf 6% is better than 3% wld have been nice to get closer to the redgaurd and imperial at 10% but that's ok there will always be room in the future for another minor buff I think honestly 8% in the future would be plenty for such an agile race think wood elf aka legolas style

    Uggghhhh why? Whatever, but while you are at it take away the ap bonus on Breton, and add in plain magicka damage. Like 2%.

    And give the bird back it's 30% health regen. Why nerf that? Who was complaining about the "op" health regen lol? And finally dark elf does not need 2% on electric and ice...
