[SPOILER] Frostbreak Ridge Leaper achievement

Anyone get this? I found the location, with NPC who talks about how much fun it is and this is the best spot. I've made several successful jumps, but did not get the achievement. NPC has several dialogs, and I jumped after she said "Your turn". Am I missing something?

Location is a few posts below. The trick for this achievement is to jump from the falls, not the NPC location.

Location is:

Head north from Frostbreak Wayshrine. Makes it a little easier if you follow river. Look for NPC on triangular rock to the right of the falls. You don't need to talk to the NPC, but it adds interest to the achievement. To get the achievement, just jump, or walk even, straight off the falls.

Tried multiple times, didn't get it. Seems to be bugged.

its bugged, just drop down the waterfall and it magically works even if you dont make it to the bottom

edit: Confirmed the waterfall works. I got it, and guildies also.

Do you mean i should ride the waterfall? I have tried just dropping next the NPC and leaping further, past the bridge. Anyway, any means of jumping close the NPC and survive should be enough.

Stand at the edge of the waterfall and move forward in little bits until you just fall down to the next ledge.

I got this finally by going into the river and sliding down the waterfall. Jumping down near the NPC didn't work.

The directions in the spoiler are a little inaccurate. Here's the path I took to get there, with increasingly spoilery hints:

If you're seeking Frostbreak Ridge, you're probably close if you find Frostbreak Wayshrine. Despite its name, there's a distinct lack of frost around to break.

The whole ridge looks like fun to jump off of, but not just anywhere will do. Waterfalls carve the deepest landing pools.

Frostbreak Wayshrine can be found roughly in the center of the "thawed" brown part of the map -- no snow; if you started this region's main questline, you probably picked it up then. Go north from the wayshrine until you find the edge of the ridge, then follow the ridge WEST. You do not want the waterfall immediately visible from the wayshrine, despite the ring of rocks indicating a landing pool. Rather, you want the one further to the left on your map. Find Glothum, and you know you are on the right track. You will see a bridge at the bottom. While you're in the area, you can get to the Skyshard with a bit of rock climbing; just hang a left (West) after you land.

Here's how I did it. Stand to the left of the npc and walk (don't jump) over the edge. Aim yourself at the base of the waterfall right where it hits the pool below

I got it by accident. I was derping around Wrothgar, running full sprint on my mount, looking at my guild chat and ran right off the edge. Thought for sure I was dead and was already hitting the R key before I hit the water. Not only did I survive but an achievement popped. I was surprised to say the least.

It's funny watching people jump off and die though. Some nights you can literally sit at the bottom and watch as the bodies hit the ground. I saw 8 make the leap one after the other about three weeks ago, all in the span of about a minute. Only one survived.

from the wayshrine.. follow the road WEST a short distance till you reach a bridge, don't go over it, but turn right just in front between it and a big post, follow the river, past a tree stump, to the edge where you will see the NPC her name "Glothum" standing there. check where the pool and bridge is first, i went back about 3 paces and ran forward off the edge.. BUT NOT JUMPING....

This is an ACCOUNT achievement, not a character achievement, so once you've done it on one character, all your other character jumps wont register ... which is very annoying of Bethesda to make achievements account based not character based...

After fast walking off the edge 3 times perfect splash in pool between falls and a little wooden bridge, I suddenly wondered and checked my achievement list and found it under "Orsinium/exploration/wrothgar cliff jumper, done 2 yrs ago on another of my characters.... so that was annoying... oh well!

The location of the jump point and NPC is directly WEST from Frostbreak ridge wayshrine. It is at the top of the waterfall.
Just walk in the river, over the waterfall.
