Yep, happens to me in Orsinium, haven't tried it yet in PvP. I'm having a really hard time sustaining right now on my Magica build.

In an effort to see if there's any correlation between anything, could you guys post your class, race, level, and the area you're seeing this happen (is it just Orsinium, dungeons, Cyrodiil, all over, etc)

Seeing the same issue with Magicka regen on my Templar as well.

Here's another possibly related issue regarding my Templar...

After using my Ultimate, my Aedric Spear ability doesn't cause my Ultimate to regen AT ALL. I can just spam the ability until my Magicka is drained and never see my Ultimate percentage increase one bit.

HOWEVER, if I do one attack (light, medium, or heavy) using my staff, it "unsticks" the Ultimate regen and now Aedric Spear attacks start to regen my Ultimate as normal.

I'm wondering if a similar "sticking" mechanic is at work here with regular regen as well as Ultimate regen.

Normal weapon attacks, blocking and doding give a buff for 8 seconds which regens your ultimate.

Other damage abilities do not proc this buff so everything is working as intended if I understand you correctly.

501 champion points, can't recall the passives since I currently don't have access to my home PC atm.

I'm using a drink buff and spend most of my time in Cyrodiil so I don't know whether or not it's bound to the zone.

Repro:
1. Sprint
2. Crouch (continue sneaking)
3. Stop (stay in sneak)

At this point my stamina is drained by sprinting and crouching and once I stop my stamina doesn't regenerate until I exit sneak.

Similar problems seems happening to my magicka pool, just can't reproduce a scenario.

~410 champ points, using food buffs.

Been having magicka regen feel very off, there are long periods in these areas where I can drain my magicka drastically faster in my sustain gear then I do in other zones (wearing dps gear with 0 regen or cost reduction) using similar skills. Has not yet affected my stamina regen

I payed close attention during the pledges last night, and it seemed like my regen just wasn't there. When I went to a drink buff instead of a food buff I could tell I was regening some magicka, but not anything close to my normal amount. I'll just have to run with drinks until his is sorted.

I know this is not a regen heavy build, but the last two days I have felt like I regen much much slower, if at all, compared to pre Orsinium. Never felt magicka drained before.

I noticed on my first vet dungeon run when orsinium came out that i was running out of magica much faster than before the patch and i do the dungeons daily

This was vr16 Elden Hollow pledge

I always do the same rotation , like engulfing flames, fire ring, searing strike, crushing shock weaving with heavy attacks

Vr16 bosmer magica dk, still using 4x vr14 marial knowledge, 2x vr16 nerien'th monster set, 2x vr16 torug's pact and 3x willpower arcane, 2x spellpower and 1x cost reduction

425 cp, all attribute points in magica.

i use the vr15 blue health and magica food

So i did notice right away, like on the first boss there was a problem with the resources, compared to before the patch, but i did not make a post or bug report

Hmm, in the dungeons I've run since the patch I havenoticed I've been running out of resources faster than I'm used to, but in one case I thought it was just because I was using a low level character that I haven't played in a while, and without a lot of passives unlocked, and in the other 2 cases I thought it was because I was trying out a somewhat different build for tanking.

OK, so I'm not the only one seeing this problem. I've been running my Redguard Stamplar thru Wrothgar and find that I now have to wait 30-40 seconds after mobs or my stamina is gone. Before the update it was more like 5-10 seconds if I even bothered. It's turned dungeon runs into dungeon crawls.

Using Drinks with 1700 magicka regen, 1100 health regen, and 1000 stamina regen

I just noticed this happening while trying out Vet Maelstrom Arena. Still have to test out in Cyrodiil, but there seems to be certain places where I lose more regen than most other places. I even weave some resto heavy attacks to regain magicka back but I still run out too fast. I do my best to alternate between abilities especially those that help with my regen.

For the record. The passive that will give you 2 or 3 ultimate on ability use is within the Dawn's Wrath tree. Unless you do a basic attack, block, or heal someone with the buff, you shouldn't be regenerating ultimate if you're only using abilities from the spear tree.

I noticed in pvp my magicka regen on my high elf sorcerer is much lower. I didn't have problems with my magicka before the patch but now I'm running out of magicka super quick and it takes longer to regen.

I don't know if this might be related, but I found some issues with the Bastion CPs. I had 60 CP in Bastion and had 22k hardened ward damage shield, I received a champion point, which I then placed into Bastion, making it 61. This made it so bastion seemingly did not work anymore, and my damage shield was reduced to 18k.

Now after some fiddling with my CP, it seemed as if it only worked when I made additions of 10 CP into a passive. Obviously I could not do extensive testing, due to the champ re-spec costing 3k every time I had to apply a change.

Might be unrelated, but perhaps something similar is happening with the reduce spell cost champion point system.

It would be great if you could fix this before console release of orsinium in a few weeks

Would it not be nice if there would be a rolling log, as part of ESO, covering up to 5 minutes or so, that only list up time stamps and changes.
Changes of damage in/out, heal in/out, recoveries, buffs, debuffs, etc.... the basics.
Also including a heading with the time stamp of the log, location, character build from that period, etc
Does not need to be beautifull, just the facts with time stamps.

We should be able to see that log and PDF it.

If we submit a bug report, we attach the PDF and ZOS has the relevant info in their own set up.

Leaves little room for confusions and misunderstandings with the help desk.

I got the same issue with stam regen (couldn't tell about magika). Easily noticable, prior to Orsinium i could move in stealth mode as long as my drink (magika and stam regen) was active, staying stable à 97-100% stam.

Now, i got 10 more percent in stam cost reduction (legerdemain first passive) and i can't perma stealth like before.
Can't tell where the problem comes from though.

Console release always gets shipped out with the same bugs that day 1 pc DLC get. Then we have to wait another month to get the same bugs that PC gets fixed a week later after their release

That was a bug they fixed in the patch notes.

Basically your regen for stam should always be 0 when sneaking, but drinks were still applying so people actually had regen.

But that is something that was included in the patch and intended, you were never suppose to recover stam in sneak.

In PvP I have been running out of stamina about twice as fast then prior to the patch. I thought it was just me and kept checking all of my gear/enchants/etc. Glad to here that it is not just me.

I noticed it too, doing vet dungeons like White gold Tower or Prison, i have to use more potions.

Ok, this may be a little long, but here are some screenshots that may or may not help.

Things I have noticed the following:
- Feels as if spells are costing more to use, despite cost reducing enchants and CP passives
- Sprinting drains stamina bar twice as fast as it used to.
- Regen while sneaking has been reduced, even with the passive
- Regen of all types is sporadic in battles, even when using heavy attacks to regain resources.
- Stamina attacks costing twice as much in battle. Prior to the DLC I could fire Snipe about 8 times in battle (Vet 16 pledge dungeons) before my Stamina bar would be low enough I have to swap weapons. Now I am lucky if I can get 5 off.

IC: Stage 1 vampire with V15 purple tri-food (no regen ones)

IC: Stage 4 vampire with V15 purple tri-food (no regen ones)

Worthgar: Stage 4 vampire, V15 purple tri-food (no regen) Increase in Magicka regen due to CP point used.

This is where I started noticing some interesting things happening.
Wrothgar: Stage 4 vampire, V15 purple tri-food (no regen): Stamina Recovery is missing.

and the same happened later on....

Stats with full BROKEN armor, Stage 4 Vampire. (forgot to check if I still had the food buff on)

So to determine if it was battle leveling changing something in UI.. I went to Craglorn. Stats did not change.

Craglorn, Stage 4 Vamp, no food buffs, and broken armor

Craglorn, Stage 4 Vamp, tri food buff, repaired armor

Last one.. Wrothgar.. NO armor, No Jewellery, No weapons... BASE STATS ONLY

V16 -Vampire NB Tank/minor DPS
5- Twilight's Embrace (V16)
3/4 - Vampire's Kiss (number depends on if swapping out staff for sword and shield) (V16)
3 Footman Jewelry -V14 Purple
(All weapons are Legendary, and the 3 full stat armor pieces are also Legendary)

One thing I have noticed is: Enchants on gear no longer apply when gear is broken. So now it is not just the spell and physical resistances you are losing. This is something that never happened in IC as I had no issues running there and using my skills with broken armor (other than no spell or physical resist), the enchants still applied.

Before posting this, I did a quick search of the Patch Notes for Wrothgar and there is no mention of a change to how armor works in there.

Also looking at the pics.. my spell crit and weapon crit has gone down 8% each from IC to Wrothgar. That's a huge difference. My spell damage and weapon damage have also gone down.
Spell damage was: 1850 now:1762 (88pts difference)
Wpn damage was: 1401 now: 1335 (66pts difference)

Has been effecting me as well. Imperial Stam DK, v16. noticing stam regen has worsened quite a bit since last patch. I used to rarely run out of stamina and now it happens very quickly

been playing mostly in new area but notices it happens everywhere there.
