problem while using staff

so when I use a staff game gets bugged and wont let me pick stuff up talk to npcs ECT unless I like tap the attack button with ti then it shows up is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes I get this often. Sometimes I have to swap my hot bar to get it to work too.

The only problem I have is that sometimes the game forces me to 100% complete a heavy attack with them before I can do anything else in combat often with animation glitches, messes with my combos big time

I'm having the exact same thing since I recently started killing Daggerbacks in Craglorn (after I found out they drop hide). Only after I hit them with my staff, I can't click on anything anymore, so I press "escape" or any other menu to fix this.

Its not staff alone, have it with sword and shield too.
I think its caused by clicking or spamming skills to fast in combination with lag ... but dont quote me on that lol.

Also had it once when swapping while swimming, skillbar frooze up and had to mount to get skills back.

ya I have it so I cnat do anthing without having to switch on regular weapons but the not being able to use something is new to me

can do several things if that happens, esc, open inventory or mount up (if you are not in combat)

Yes there is a bug involving Lightning and Restoration Staff Heavy Attacks that can cause your Staff to "lock up". I usually fix it by simply launching an attack at an enemy.

mine don't lock up its when I'm not in battle and want to search or use something it wont pop up with the searvch or use iption until I attack at least once

Just entered the To air of the Worm and my staff stopped working.
It's charged, all abilities work, had to bash enemies to kill some of them. Ran through the delve. I swapped bars, logged out logged back in. Restart Internet, used /reloading. Going to try shutting down PS4 and unplugging it at the outlet.

This thread you're replying to has been idle for over a decade. And it's the second time I've seen you do it in the past day. I don't think this is how you unlock Necromancer ultimates. Maybe look a little closer at the dates so you can get some actual fresh info?
