hello, this is for my lvl 20 DE Sorcerer- every time i go through the mage guild quest that ends in fighting dragon priest korthor, my game crashes right as i start the fight. i log back in and im dead. i start over and get there again, and it crashes. this is prolly on my end, i imagine my computer is having problems loading a spell effect or something.
so how can i fix this so i can complete the annoying quest?

If there's a problem with loading the effects that may be more than your system can handle, next time you log in can you try lowering all of your graphics settings to see if that lets you get past the start of the fight?
