How can i change my servers reign?

When i first created my Character i accidentally selected the European MagaServer. when i went to try and simply change over to the north American server it wants to make me crated a new character which is not something i wan to do. Is there a way to fix this because i am unable to understand anyone that invites me to a group or guild do to the fact we don't speak the same language.

ZOS_MichelleA✭✭✭✭✭Hi there, @Khroan. Characters and progress on each megaserver are completely separate, and there is no way to transfer them. In order to play on the North American megaserver, you will need to create a new character.5
