Really, caused by any recipe icon? We knew that already!!!!

im in NA when tlakin to a vendor. i got a known recipee on my bag and its fine. but talkin to the Brewer and the Chef, as soon as the store window pop open, i'm back to Desktop.

Also wanted to note that I appear to at least be able to view finished products.

However, the patch notes stated: "If you create a level 10 potion, it will scale with you as you level, until level 19" and etc.


This does not appear to be occurring. No where near as big a deal as the crashing, but did not know if this might somehow be tied into the problem and wanted to let ZOS know.

This was a recipe created JUST before the servers went down.


EDIT: Of course, I have not leveled as yet, so maybe you actually have to level. I assumed above that the product leveled to your current level. Will see in a half hour or so if it is tied into the actual leveling process.

I've crashed multiple times using any type of crafting station. Opening provisioning urn was fine, looking at recipes was fine. using the mail or crafting even a non-food or drink item is causing crashes here. Now I'm scared to go fishing and lose a chance at a perfect roe.

Edit: there were no recipes in the urn, may make a difference.

I had done the provisioning writ and got the consumables -- opened the bag -- crash, no error msg. Re log in bank open inventory -- crash no error msg. Went outside, opened the bag -- crash, no error msg. So basically I can't play the game and yes there was a menu in the bag I opened when I finished the writ quest. None of the crashes had any error code. I filled out your little popup each time tho .

Crashed trying to speak to the brewer, then the chef in Crosswych vr1 Glenumbra. I do have recipes in my inventory but didnt hover them when the store inteface opened. Also Ive crashed from hovering over but that was seperate from trying to use the brewer/chef.

Crashed 3 times using cooking fire, no error windows.

I can open a fire but if I un-check off the "have ingredients" option My game will crash, Im able to un check off the "Have recipe" and still be able to play.

Update: I'm also crashing when I open the my Inventory ---> Consumables tab where the recipes that caused me to crash (when I looted) them are located.

IMPORTANT: I'm not crashing at random or when opening any other part of my inventory.

Only crashing when using cooking fire. Opened boxes from writs, mail, traders, etc. No issues. Only cooking fires causing me crashes.

I can't open my inventory on any character that has a recipe in their inventory. As soon as I click "I" my game crashes. I now have four characters I can't play because I can't offload their stuff to my bank.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but I don't have to look at a recipe to crash, just hovering my mouse over a cooking fire causes me to crash.

It is only crashing if I mouse over a recipe or open a cooking fire.

If you open your inventory for any reason and your mouse happens to be on a recipe it will crash. If you sell something and a recipe is under it, your inventory will shift and cause you to mouse over a recipe. It can happen quicker than you will notice, but it is always from mousing over a recipe.
