Totally unacceptable lag and shennanigans

It is 3:43 PST on 4/31. A little while ago, AD AND DC (yes team green exists) attacked Arrius keep. I watched as AD entered the south east outer tower and all launched meteors/comets at once. Most of the EP in my group immediately lagged out resulting in the inability to do ANYTHING to defend. Some of us lagged totally out of game, some us were stuck there unable to fire weapons or use skills due to lag. As a result, they got the scroll being held there. I have been trying to get back in game and back to cyrodil ever since. Finally got back in and experienced a 15 second delay in doing anything. Type H to mount horse? 15 seconds! Eventually got back to keep and the second I was there, could not use any skills and got lagged out again! We did not lose that scroll due to the superior expertise of our foes (unless exploiting lag is considered skill,) we did not lose it due to our lack of skill or team work. We lost it due to lag. Crippling lag.

Totally unacceptable.

I was there (AD) and was lagged out as well shortly after, this is unacceptable and needs addressing as soon as possible.

Good to know - not good that you lagged too, but that it affected you too, we're all in it together I guess.

I'm new to MMO and PvP, an old lady having a lot of fun in this game or at least trying to. I have a premium subscription and not to sound entitled, but I'm used to getting what I pay for. Maybe in the gaming industry it is different but in other industries this whole situation would be totally unacceptable from a user experience and quality perspective. Last night I waited in queue of 170+ people just to play. If I had all the AP I've lost due to lag I'd be number one on the leader boards.

I've heard the term "rage quit" and I'm not threatening to do that, however if I find a provider who can give me a better experience for my hard earned dollars, I would certainly consider taking my business elsewhere, just as I do in other aspects of my life. I'm paying for a service here and it is a service that is not currently being delivered.

I was there too, except it wasnt" ZOMG LAG IM CRASHING". My siege was working fine (thats how we were able to penetrate Red's zerg repair). People were not crashing during the siege, AD was able to coordinate and take out Red trebs on the walls.
On a side note, can you guess what RED guild wasnt on during the time?
Anyways, the point is, there wasnt server crashing lag.... that is.... until the inner went down.

The only time people started crashing and lagging out was when the inner went down and DC pushed on AD all of a sudden and after that, Red came back to reinforce it. We had THREE factions AOEing inside the keep. So yes, expect lag.

What bothers most people is when small groups of red are capable of lagging the entire keep out. Except they werent defending arrius at the time, they were at another campaign,. or else AD and DC wouldve been wiped earlier.

Look on the bright side, now that you own the game, you don't have to throw any more money at them. It amazes me that people even still have subscriptions given the poor state of PvP.

That lag was server wide lag, was not even close to that keep and was feeling it slightly base attacks where slugish and took longer then normal to enter into sneak and so on

Welcome to what DC faces anytime we fight EP. You're not gonna get much sympathy.

That 170 que is an EP problem I'm afraid. I was talking to a friend on EP having played there for a while and there was a 2 person que on AD at the same time she told me there was a 170 person que on EP with probably a similar number to AD for DC I would imagine. You may want to think about rerolling if the que is getting to you as its only going to get worse with Tameriel Unlimited free to play players levelling up.

Oh and enjoy. This is a hell of a game when the lag isn't ruining it!

The lag today wasn't ep, ad, dc causing it there was a massive battle at one of EP's keeps and almost everyone was there, I was at a different keep catching blood porters on the EP side that went through the gate, free ap so why not. And it was lagging over there was only me and a couple of others in that keep for awhile and it was lagging some even there away from the battle, it was odd...

But in the end the more people in an area the more it lags, DC caused some lag itself last night when lifting a siege metors seem to be a problem overall with lag if to many use it at once, and all sides love that skill.

Pretty much what happens to DC scrolls on a regular basis. Watch EP waltz off with them all the time.

I dunno what you're complaining about, I don't think DC hasn't lost a scroll this campaign without massive lag.

Yeah, today DC didn't have much of a Queue. Most times I was able to just get in free of wait, though I did go through a queue of 10 earlier. Still not much compared to EP.

Long story short: Reroll AD or DC! We could use the flesh! xD

EP coordinates a mass use of Meteor and DK banner ultimates by their members. This is what causes the lag issues. If they don't want to curb this sort of detrimental behavior it will never fix it self.

EP always lags out the server theres nothing you can do about them cheats man. Best to just screenshot them all and report it.

I don't know about being the sole cause of it all, but there does seem to be a large spike when when they show up.

the thing is, that works BOTH WAYS.

Gonna be honest with y'all. If you're still on thorn you really need to leave that campaign. Thorn to chill in comparison is night and day. Chill = no lag, tactics + fun. Thorn = MUCH lag, no tactics, and no fun.

Idk bout y'all but id rather lose by a landslide and have fun trying then win and be mad as F because the lag was so bad i cant recall any notable moments from the past month of pvp.
