The "map" points to the Dev tracker.
You've been around long enough to know where to find it Arsenic.
Give credit where credit is due.

You have a very different definition of "high level of communication" than the rest of us do.

The only thing they've said that was any different was giving a rough date for the next update, every other comment is pretty much "We're working on a plan" yeah that's grade A stuff right there. I'll give credit when it's actually due, not before.

I said "higher", not "high". My definition suits the situation just fine.

I appreciate the OP's sentiment. But unfortunately, 'higher' in this context merely resolves to 'low', when considered in the context of most organisation's comms to their customers.

I'm thankful, but then again, my standards aren't as high as yours. They always address us in a calm and concise manner, which given the abuse they have to put up with, is more than I could ever do.

I get paid to do my job, but it's always nice to be appreciated. There are plenty of other jobs out there, and it seems they're doing a job where their work is constantly belittled by hoards of entitled brats.

I don't think that's entirely fair. The game itself is excellent and there are many threads where people are saying as much.

The communication from ZOS is awful: sporadic, unstructured, hit and miss in terms of target etc. It's just really weak when compared to the legitimate expectation one has when considering comms from a company one is buying a service from.

People speaking up about this on a forum is one of the few ways they can ram this point home to ZOS, in order it improves.

Remember, people are paying a sub so they actually ARE entitled.

I don't want to crash your party guys but Gina & Co. cant babysit us every minute. They have a lot more to do, writing reports for the press, giving interviews, handing out transcripts...

Once you worked in the PR section of a company you will understand that community work is one but not the only thing you do. Unfortunately does the community work often come short due the massive amount of work that you have to do.

If you want to blame someone then you need to blame ZO for not having more resources = work personal.

    Thanks @Kvasir Silverpaw
My brain comes with a built in "Troll detector". It also has an "Auto-ignore" feature. ;)
It's not *always* successful, but tends to lead to a much happier life.

Constructive communication always makes it past this "internal filter".
    Communication, such as this:

I fixed a bit for you.
I do agree that the level of communication is weak, however, the point of my post is that it has indeed gotten better in the past few days.
People speaking up about this on a forum is one of the few ways they can ram this point home to ZOS, in order it improves.
I absolutely agree with this, however, I prefer not to "ram" a point home.

"You get more flies with honey, than with vinegar", or so the saying goes.

Giving a person credit where credit is due is essential to gaining the mutual benefits provided by behavior you enjoy.
The same is true with companies, since companies, no matter their size, are also run by packs of individuals. Each of those individuals strives for appreciation.
I do my best to provide that appreciation when it is deserved.
This is not entirely selfless. I also gain benefits from this, not the least of which is open communication.
Remember, people are paying a sub so they actually ARE entitled.
    Agreed.

I'm paying a subscription fee, the same as you are. They're meeting my expectations, but not yours. That's fine if you're feeling cheated, you have every right to tell them how unhappy they're making you, but don't throw me in that same boat.

I'm a happy customer. I pay a lot more for my phone contract, internet and gym fees, yet I don't receive half as much feed-back. Just because I'm paying them money, doesn't mean they should wait on me hand and foot.

    Edit; typos.

Perhaps his standards are reasonable, and yours are high. What I'm curious about is why these people, who are clearly unhappy with what they are paying for, continue to pay?

If I was going to a gym where there were no free weights, no maintenance and poor customer support, I'd change gym. Why are you all still here? Your actions contradict your statements.
