Notice that twice (first time by accident, then checked). For now I explore Tamriel with my pig. And my pig is real friend. He disarm bear traps. And what you pet do for you?
And now serious. It's a bug? I dont think game should work like this. Or maybe should. I dont know.
I hear "clap!" but get no damage. And also no snare, I'm sure that it's not me that who trigger trap. Dont sure for another pets can do it, but who knows.

Hey there. Just to clarify, are the bear traps you're referring to the Battered Bear Trap reward for completing the Toothmaul Gully public dungeon?

There is a Bear Trap quest reward that lets you place it and kite enemies into it, if you don't have that, you might have been in Glenumbra where there are Ground Traps all over a few spots.

Which spot? What quest hub area? Does your pig also trigger other kinds of Traps? I am just curious. Wonder if Collision or Navemesh is a culprit. I have been blocked from doorways by Clannafears/Winged Twilights and even Imagekin Monkeys and Pet Scuttlers as of late.

Cant be sure for 100%, but I seems like other traps not triggering by pig.

You're talking about Battered Bear Trap trophy (and this trophy I get in Auridon)?

Following video game logic, the pig should explode into a pile of bacon after walking through a trap (becoming whole again once re-called).

@Reiterpallasch‌, hmmm, maybe. But pig is still alive. So I suppose that something wrong here (that pig trigger trap). Also can confirm that pig activate Battered Bear Trap trophy from Toothmaul Gully. So you can try with another pets.

Also checked in Toothmaul Gully. Traps triggers. I dont want to make a video just to show that it works.

My pets (Imgakin, Razak's Opus, Scuttler) all trigger the bear trap, too. Figured it was intentional. Doesn't seem to cause any issues.
    Thank Stendarr it’s Fredas.

@ZOS_AmeliaR‌ - My guar pet set off traps in Glenumbra, the ones the red rooks placed. Perhaps it has something to do with them being static objects like NPCs? my pets never set off traps before the issue of collision on pets.
