I have had all those motifs drop for me as well. Just saying I've never seen a purple recipe drop and I loot everything. They're more rare than anything else in the game.0 -

Found it in one of the drawers there in the Vulkhel's Guard bank in Auridon. I think I pooped a Twinkie when I saw it in the loot screen.1 -

As a lvl 25, I got a lvl 35 purple(first and only) in lvl 45 area. As it requires tomatoes, it's virtually worthless... Only 4 tomatoes I have seen in the game, came from my hireling. When I was finally able to make the dish, I was well into my fourties.
I've never seen tomatoes for sale.
So, low lvl purple recipies w. tomatoes=worthless. I do have some 30-odd oats and carrots stashed away, in case I or a friend ever get lucky...Epitaph: Here lies Lester Moore

✭I have 6 level 35 purples learned. Found them in castles mostly, but also bought a bunch back when people didn't charge insane amounts. I even bought a purple jerky one for 800g and sold it for 20k & a purple frog legs one that requires oats.
All I can say is the level 35 purple foods aren't very useful. I have a couple stacks sitting in my bank. I guess I could go to a level 35 area and sell the food, but I literally only used it for 2 days before I reached the next level blue.
There needs to be way more range in the level of purple recipes. I've seen one level 45, but everything else has been VR5 or 35.Edited by badmojo on June 16, 2014 4:07AM[DC/NA]0 -
