Lack of Skimpy Armor :(

The reason you don't often see skimpy male armor, is because of the difference in fantasies. For instance... I'm a 300lb man that loves cheeseburgers... but in my games, I'm a muscular powerhouse of a man. That's my fantasy.

For my wife, she's an attractive brunette, but her characters are generally slightly taller than she is in RL, and she wants to be a gorgeous blonde with skimpy armor in her fantasy games.

I guess that's the difference... I don't fantasize like that. I project what I want to be into an MMO character. sure I like that it looks cool and all but I dont do that

Armour that shows lots of naked flesh is ridiculous, but there's plenty you can do to make it flatter the female form without resorting to that - after all many of the design features of existing armour exist to accentuate an idealised masculine physique - hence the huge , NFL shoulder guards that go way beyond simply providing protection/freedom of movement for the joint.

Female versions of the armour should not emphasise the shoulders (this isn't the 1980s) but well fitted gear should be able to show off her hips, waist, and should at least provide somewhere for her breasts to go rather than binding them (the criticism that you're just making a shot trap depends on how large she is up there I suppose, I kept my female's modest because an athletic physique is in keeping with her job role)

Seducer Costume. Anguish set. Golden Saint costume. Bosmer light armor. Argonian armor in general. Keeper's Garb costume. Breton light armor (at high levels, anyway). Seadrake costume. Orc heavy armor (on females). Barbaric armor in general.

You're welcome. I'm sure there's more than that, but those are just the ones I know off the top of my head. Sure, none of them are straight-up chainmail bikinis, but let's face it, those are probably coming.

Actually there is skimpy armor. If my character had ***, they would be showing because her top is cut so low. There isn't much choice either. You have to wear it, essentially, because there's nothing else. It's fine, as long as it's not only female characters that show some skin. As long as men have to deal with it too, fine.
